MASS THIRUVATHIRA DANCE

The Singapore Malayalee Association recently celebrated their 100th anniversary with a record-breaking “MASS THIRUVATHIRA DANCE”. The event brought together 389 young girls and ladies from various races who danced in harmony at Woodlands Stadium. The Thiruvathira folk dance is a popular dance form among the Malayalee community and is traditionally performed during the Onam festival.

The event was a remarkable achievement and garnered a lot of attention, especially because it was an world record. The dance was witnessed by thousands of spectators, including members of the Singapore Malayalee community, who were proud to see their culture and traditions being celebrated on such a large scale.
