The Singapore Malayalee Association recently celebrated their 100th anniversary with a record-breaking “MASS THIRUVATHIRA DANCE”. The event brought together 389 young girls and ladies from various races who danced in harmony at Woodlands Stadium. The Thiruvathira folk dance is a popular dance form among the Malayalee community and is traditionally performed during the Onam festival.
The event was a remarkable achievement and garnered a lot of attention, especially because it was an world record.
