The Asean world record of “BIGGEST SOLAR POWERED POLYHOUSE WITH HYDROPONICS SYSTEM” is achieved by DR. DURGESH PANT.
Dr. Durgesh Pant from the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, achieves a remarkable feat with the creation of the biggest solar-powered polyhouse. Spanning over 6,000 sq. ft., this innovative structure integrates a 71-kilowatt solar power plant with a hydroponics system, cultivating a variety of exotic veggies like lettuce, capsicum, spinach, and cherry tomatoes in 6,400 vegetable pots suspended three feet above the ground.
