Minggu Muzik Malaysia has received recognition by the Asean World Record for its concert in the Air as the “Highest Altitude Live Music Performance”. AirAsia AK5106, the record-breaking flight, departed Kuala Lumpur and was bound for Kota Kinabalu.
The small concert featured Ayda Jebat, Minggu Muzik Malaysia 2019’s star artiste and an independent band Shadow Puppet Theater. They performed for approximately 30 minutes during the 2 hours 40 minutes flight. Concert in the air is joyfully sponsored by official mineral water, Spritzer, in celebration of its 30th Anniversary. This concert was attended by Guest of Honour- Datuk Ahmad Shah Hussein Tambakau, Chairman of Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (Tourism Malaysia).
